Department Manager

About the role

Mcdonald’s Restaurants are seeking dedicated leaders to join our team. Positions include Shift Managers, Department Managers, and General Managers. Ideal candidates have a passion for hospitality management and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Ensure excellent operations in Quality, Service, and Cleanliness throughout each shift without supervision
• Manage Restaurant Controls such as labor cost, inventory, cash procedures on a daily basis
• Follow and enforce all restaurant safety and security policies and procedures
• Coach and follow-up on crew to ensure excellent operations
• Aid in continuing growth and development of employees inside the restaurant
• Support the General Manager with setting and achieving store goals
• Create and complete goals for individual department
• Aid with quality hiring, staffing, and retention

Requirements

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience
• Lead Departments, including managing assigned Systems like Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results
• Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
• Positive team player with flexible schedules who likes to have fun, passionate about the fast-paced McDonald’s environment
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants
