Department Manager
About the role
The role involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. As a Department Manager, you will ensure that customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience, manage staff training, and maintain food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and departments to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
- Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
- Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to your team and other managers.
- Ensure the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas are organized for optimal service.
- Oversee the delivery of great quality food and fast service in the Kitchen Department.
- Train and schedule staff to meet sales and profit goals.
- Maintain a positive work environment and motivate employees.
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
- A positive attitude and a passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to apply.
