Department Manager

About the role

The role involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. As a manager, you will ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience, manage staff, and adhere to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to ensure a high-quality customer experience
• Manage assigned departments such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management
• Ensure sales promotions are executed effectively
• Train and supervise service staff
• Organize the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service
• Hire, train, and schedule staff to meet sales and profit goals
• Support new employees and motivate current staff

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule and willingness to have fun
• Must be 18 years or older
