About the Role
Managers lead shifts every week, making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. Some managers also lead Departments, such as the Guest Service, Kitchen, and People Departments.
Responsibilities
Guest Service Department Manager:
- Makes sure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience
- Ensures sales promotions are done well
- Trains service staff in service procedures
- Organizes Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for the best service
Kitchen Department Manager:
- Makes sure the restaurant delivers great quality food to customers
- Fast, and food is always safe
- Controls food cost
- Trains kitchen staff in production procedures, including new items on the menu
People Department Manager:
- Makes sure the restaurant hires qualified crew
- Trains them well
- Schedules them to meet restaurant sales and profit goals
- Makes sure Crew get off to a good start and are recognized and motivated
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
- Positive team player with flexible schedules
- Passion to work in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment
Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants.
