About the role
The role involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald's restaurant operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is a separate entity from McDonald’s USA and is solely responsible for employment matters.
Responsibilities
- Ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit.
- Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
- Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to teams and other managers.
- Lead the Guest Service Department to ensure a great customer experience, manage sales promotions, train service staff, and organize the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas.
- Lead the Kitchen Department to ensure high-quality food delivery, food safety, food cost control, and train kitchen staff in production procedures.
- Lead the People Department to hire qualified crew, train them well, schedule them to meet sales and profit goals, and support their development.
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
- A positive attitude and a passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to apply for this position.
