Department Manager

About the role

We are hiring Department Managers with full-time availability starting at $18/hour. These shifts include Day Shifts, Opening Shifts, and Closing Shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to your team and other managers.
• Ensure the Guest Service Department delivers a great customer experience, manages sales promotions, trains service staff, and organizes the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service.
• Ensure the Kitchen Department delivers high-quality food and fast service, maintains food safety, controls food costs, and trains kitchen staff on production procedures.
• Ensure the People Department hires qualified crew, trains them well, and schedules them to meet restaurant sales and profit goals. Also, ensure Crew get off to a good start and are recognized and motivated.

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to work as a manager in our corporate-owned and operated restaurants.
