About the Role

This job posting is for a management position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. If hired, the franchisee will be your employer.

Responsibilities

• Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Some managers also lead Departments, which may include:
  • Training: Setting goals, delegating tasks, and reporting results.
  • Food Safety: Managing systems and ensuring food is safe.
  • Inventor Management: Managing inventory and controlling costs.
• The Guest Service Department Manager ensures:
  • Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience.
  • Sales promotions are done well.
  • All service staff are trained in service procedures.
  • The Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas are organized for the best service.
• The Kitchen Department Manager ensures:
  • The restaurant delivers great quality food and fast service.
  • Food is always safe.
  • Food cost is controlled.
  • All kitchen staff are trained in production procedures, including new items on the menu.
• The People Department Manager ensures:
  • The restaurant hires qualified crew and trains them well.
  • Schedules staff to meet restaurant sales and profit goals.
  • Hires and trains new employees.
  • Makes sure Crew get off to a good start and are recognized and motivated.

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants.
• We're looking for positive team players with flexible schedules who like to have fun, with the passion to work the famously fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
