About the role
The job involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald’s restaurant operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is a separate entity and is solely responsible for employment matters.
Responsibilities
- Ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience every visit.
- Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
- Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to teams and other managers.
- Lead the Guest Service Department to ensure high-quality customer service, sales promotion effectiveness, staff training, and efficient operation of the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas.
- Lead the Kitchen Department to ensure high-quality food delivery, food safety, food cost control, and staff training in production procedures.
- Lead the People Department to ensure qualified crew hiring, effective training, and scheduling to meet sales and profit goals.
- Support new employees and motivate them throughout their tenure.
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
- Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to apply for a manager position.
