About the role
This job posting is for a Manager position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is responsible for employment matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
- Lead Departments, which may include managing Systems like Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results.
- The Guest Service Department Manager ensures Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience, manage sales promotions, train service staff, and organize the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service.
- The Kitchen Department Manager ensures the restaurant delivers great quality food and service, maintains food safety, controls food costs, and trains kitchen staff in production procedures.
- The People Department Manager ensures the restaurant hires qualified crew, trains them well, schedules them to meet sales and profit goals, and supports their development and motivation.
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
- Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurants.
Qualifications
