About the role
The role involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is a separate entity from McDonald’s USA and is solely responsible for employment matters.
Responsibilities
- Ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience every visit.
- Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
- Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to teams and other managers.
- Lead the Guest Service Department to ensure high-quality customer service, sales promotions, staff training, and efficient service areas.
- Oversee the Kitchen Department to ensure quality food delivery, food safety, cost control, and staff training.
- Manage the People Department to hire, train, and schedule staff to meet sales and profit goals, and support their professional development.
Requirements
- Previous McDonald's managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
- Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to qualify as a manager in corporate-owned restaurants.
