Department Manager

Requirements

Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment. We're looking for positive team players with flexible schedules who like to have fun, with the passion to work the famously fast-paced McDonald's environment. Applicants must be 18 years or older to be considered for management positions in our corporate-owned and operated restaurants.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Set goals, delegate tasks to teams, follow up, and report results.
• Ensure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience.
• Manage sales promotions and ensure service staff are trained in service procedures.
• Organize Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service.
• Make sure the restaurant delivers great quality food to customers, maintains food safety, controls food costs, and trains kitchen staff in production procedures.
• Hire, train, and schedule crew members to meet restaurant sales and profit goals.
• Support Crew in getting off to a good start and recognizing and motivating them throughout their time working there.
