About the role

The role involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald’s restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. As a department manager, you will be responsible for various functions such as employee training, food safety, inventory management, hiring, training, and scheduling staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead important internal functions including Employee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management
• Effectively delegate tasks to team members and report back results
• Directly support the General Manager to achieve restaurant performance and quality standards in three areas: Kitchen, People, and Service
• Ensure safe and efficient operations of the restaurant
• Partner with the restaurant team to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
• Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned and operated restaurants
