About the role
The role involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald’s restaurant. Shift leaders ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Department managers handle tasks such as employee training, food safety, inventory management, and more.
Responsibilities
- Lead important internal functions including Employee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management
- Effectively delegate tasks to team members and report back results
- Directly support the General Manager to achieve restaurant performance and quality standards in three areas: Kitchen, People, and Service
- Ensure safe and efficient operations of the restaurant
- Provide solutions and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
- Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned and operated restaurants
Qualifications
Commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace, strong customer service and support focus, ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs, and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
