About the role
The job involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is a separate employer and is solely responsible for employment matters.
Responsibilities
- Ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit.
- Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
- Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to teams and other managers.
- Lead the Guest Service Department, ensuring great customer experience, sales promotion effectiveness, and staff training.
- Lead the Kitchen Department, ensuring high-quality food delivery, food safety, food cost control, and staff training.
- Lead the People Department, ensuring qualified crew hiring, training, and scheduling to meet sales and profit goals.
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
- Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned McDonald's restaurants.
