About the role
The role involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. As a manager, you will ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience, manage staff, and adhere to operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts to maintain high-quality customer service and sales performance.
- Manage assigned departments such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
- Ensure all service staff are trained in service procedures and that the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas are organized for optimal service.
- Oversee the delivery of quality food and fast service in the Kitchen Department.
- Ensure food safety, control food costs, and train kitchen staff in production procedures.
- Hire, train, and schedule staff to meet sales and profit goals.
- Support new employees and motivate existing staff throughout their tenure.
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to the demanding nature of the job.
- Must be 18 years or older to qualify for the position.
