Department Manager
Requirements
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. They may also lead Departments such as Guest Service, Kitchen, or People. Responsibilities vary based on the Department, but generally include:
- Making sure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience
- Managing assigned Systems like Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management
- Setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results
- Ensuring the restaurant delivers great quality food and fast service
- Training kitchen staff in production procedures
- Hiring, training, and scheduling crew to meet sales and profit goals
- Supporting Crew members' development and motivation
Qualifications
Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Positive team players with flexible schedules and a passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment are sought.
Applicants must be 18 years or older to apply for a management position in a corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurant.

Pay
The starting salary for a Manager at a McDonald’s corporate-owned store is $18.00 per hour after completed training.
