About the role
The role involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald’s restaurant operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is a separate entity from McDonald’s USA, which is not involved in employment matters.
Responsibilities
- Ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience.
- Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
- Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to teams and other managers.
- Lead the Guest Service Department, ensuring high-quality customer service, promotion execution, staff training, and area organization.
- Lead the Kitchen Department, overseeing food quality, safety, cost control, and staff training.
- Lead the People Department, managing hiring, training, scheduling, and employee motivation.
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule and enthusiasm for the McDonald’s culture.
- Must be 18 years or older to manage in corporate-owned restaurants.
