Department Manager

About the role

The job is for a Department Manager at a McDonald's Corporate owned restaurant. This position is not with McDonald’s USA but with an independent franchisee.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Set goals, delegate tasks to teams, follow up, and report results.
• Ensure the Guest Service Department delivers a great customer experience.
• Manage the Kitchen Department to ensure high-quality food and fast service.
• Ensure the People Department hires, trains, and schedules staff effectively.

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be considered for this role.
