Department Manager
About the role
The role involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald’s restaurant operated by an independent franchisee. As a department manager, you will oversee various functions including employee training, food safety, inventory management, and more.
Responsibilities
- Lead important internal functions such as Employee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management
- Effectively delegate tasks to team members and report back results
- Directly support the General Manager to achieve restaurant performance and quality standards in three areas: Kitchen, People, and Service
- Ensure safe and efficient operations of the restaurant through teamwork
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
- Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment
- Must be 18 years or older to be eligible to manage in corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurants
Qualifications
