Department Manager
About the role
The successful candidate will manage weekly shifts, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience every visit. They will oversee multiple departments, including the Guest Service, Kitchen, and People Departments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Guest Service Department to ensure high-quality customer experiences, effective sales promotions, and proper training of service staff.
- Manage the Kitchen Department to guarantee consistent food quality, safety, and adherence to food cost controls, while also training kitchen staff in production procedures.
- Oversee the People Department to hire qualified employees, train them effectively, and schedule them to meet sales and profit targets, recognizing and motivating them throughout their tenure.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older to manage corporate-owned McDonald's restaurants.
- Previous managerial experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald's environment.
Qualifications
