Department Manager

About the role

The role involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. As a manager, you will ensure a fast, accurate, and friendly customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to provide a high-quality customer experience.
• Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Set goals, delegate tasks, and report results to your team and other managers.
• Ensure the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas are organized for optimal service.
• Oversee the delivery of great quality food and fast service in the Kitchen Department.
• Hire, train, and schedule staff to meet sales and profit goals.
• Support new employees and motivate them throughout their tenure.

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• A positive attitude and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to qualify as a manager.
