Department Manager $15 hourly pay

The Department Manager is responsible for overseeing various aspects of the restaurant, including:

• Managing Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management systems
• Setting goals and delegating tasks to their teams
• Following up and reporting results

Responsibilities

• Manage Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management systems
• Set goals and delegate tasks to their teams
• Follow up and report results
• Ensure the restaurant delivers high quality food to customers quickly
• Ensure food is always safe
• Control food costs
• Train kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items
• Hire qualified crew members
• Train crew members well
• Schedule crew members to meet restaurant sales and profit goals
• Engage employees through motivation and recognition
• Ensure the restaurant provides a memorable customer experience
• Manage sales promotions effectively
• Train service staff in service procedures
• Organize the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for the best service

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be 18 years or older to be considered for this role

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
