Join our community of food professionals as a department lead overseeing Dry, Disposables, Culinary Equipment Supplies (CES), and fresh departments. This role ensures effective inventory management, profitable merchandise presentation, and high-quality customer service, including Manager on Duty responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper inventory levels based on store capacity, promotions, customer requests, and seasonal merchandise to maximize sales.
- Complete all daily orders and maintain superior customer service, freshness, and stock availability.
- Execute daily date checks and ensure appealing presentation and pricing standards in assigned areas.
- Train, motivate, and develop staff to uphold company standards.
- Utilize computer systems for inventory, sales, and operational tasks.
- Stock shelves, set up displays, ring up sales, and perform cleaning duties as needed.
- Open and close the CHEF’STORE in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, performing Manager on Duty functions.
- Role model and promote company cultural beliefs.
- Maintain a safe and well-kept facility by adhering to safety policies and addressing hazards.
- Correct safety issues and report unresolved hazards to store management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Store Management.
Requirements
- Three (3) years of experience in a retail, restaurant, or customer service environment.
- Supervisory or lead experience preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible hourly schedule, including holidays and weekends.
- Proficiency with computer use, word processing, email, and internet software.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

Schedule
- Full-time with open availability, including weekends and holidays.
Pay

- Expected base rate range: $17.13 - $27 per hour, depending on experience, education, skills, and location.
- Overtime compensation may be available.
