About the role
We are seeking an experienced Dental Residency Coach to work with students navigating the dental residency application process from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Helping students with specialty selection and program selection
- Building an overall application strategy and match strategy
- Supporting students with personal statement and essay writing
- Resumes review
- Securing strong letters of recommendation
- Preparing for interviews
- Navigating financial aid & scholarships
- Understanding licensing requirements
- Discussing clinical rotations
- Developing a waitlist strategy when needed
Requirements
Strong knowledge of the dental residency and match process (as a former program director, resident, or industry professional)
A track record of helping students put their best applications forward
A clear, structured approach to guiding students through a stressful and high-stakes process
Qualifications
Experience in coaching or mentoring students through complex processes
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
