Responsibilities
- Create a polished, professional first impression for patients
- Present treatment plans and explain financial arrangements clearly and confidently
- Verify insurance benefits and help patients understand coverage and out-of-pocket costs
- Coordinate patient scheduling to support productive, efficient provider schedules
- Manage patient check-in/check-out and maintain accurate records
- Collect payments and support front office financial workflows
- Communicate closely with providers and clinical team members to ensure seamless patient flow
- Support administrative processes, reporting, and daily office organization
- Help maintain a high standard of service, professionalism, and accountability at the front desk
Requirements
- Previous dental office experience required
- Treatment coordinator and/or dental front office experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and patient financial coordination preferred
- Familiarity with Dentrix Enterprise and/or Eaglesoft strongly preferred
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and lead by example in a busy practice environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a dental office setting
- Knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and patient financial coordination
- Familiarity with Dentrix Enterprise and/or Eaglesoft
Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
