Dental Assistant II (On-Call)

We are seeking a Dental Assistant II to support dental providers, assist with clinic operations, patient flow, training, and supply management.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance across various dental procedures
• Escort patients and manage patient flow
• Perform administrative tasks including scheduling, charting, and patient education
• Maintain sterilization and infection control standards
• Ensure OSHA compliance
• Manage inventory and supplies
• Support insurance verification processes
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training activities

Requirements

• Completion of a formal Dental Assistant program or 18+ months of dental assisting experience
• Washington State DOH Dental Assistant Registration
• BLS CPR certification (within 90 days of hire)
• Annual TB testing
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient service skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Must pass DAII competency test with 80% or higher
