Responsibilities
- Updating patient records
- Conducting X-ray procedures
- Recording periodontal charting
- Preparing instruments for exams
- Performing preventative care such as fluoride treatments and assisting with infection control
- Maintaining a sterile environment during nitrous oxide administration
- Assisting with orthodontic procedures, including obtaining records and fabricating retainers
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED
- WA state Dental Assistant Registration or willingness to obtain
- BLS certification within 90 days
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and basic knowledge of dental terminology and infection control
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency with Electronic Dental Records
