About the role
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to support patient care at a community health clinic.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining patient records
- Performing X-ray procedures
- Assisting with periodontal care
- Preparing instruments
- Supporting infection control protocols
- Patient education
- Assisting with orthodontic tasks
- Potentially acting as a Lead to ensure smooth clinic operations and staff training
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- BLS certification within 90 days
- Dental Assistant registration or EFDA certification
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) at a high proficiency level
- Knowledge of dental procedures, infection control, and electronic records
