Responsibilities
- Maintain and update patient medical records, including vital signs and medical history.
- Perform complete patient X-ray procedures and manage digital records.
- Prepare instruments, equipment, and materials for exams, ensuring infection control.
- Provide preventative periodontal services such as polishing, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
- Monitor nitrous oxide analgesia under supervision and educate patients on oral hygiene.
- Assist with orthodontic procedures and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Support infection control protocols, sterilize instruments, and maintain clinical areas.
- Perform clinical duties in alignment with regulatory standards and assist as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, with BLS certification within 90 days.
- Registered Dental Assistant or EFDA certification.
- PREFERRED: Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) at a high proficiency level.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, materials, infection control, and oral health education.
- Strong manual dexterity, professional interaction skills, and proficiency with dental software and Microsoft Office.
