Dental Assistant - Caton J. State, DDS

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Dental Assistant (DA) who will play a crucial role in our practices. Your responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during various clinical procedures, preparing and sterilizing rooms and instruments, taking digital x-rays, educating patients, and maintaining a positive and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Absorb and apply new techniques and technologies as they become available
• Prepares and sterilizes rooms and instruments with care and consistency
• Takes digital x-rays and maintains accurate patient records
• Provides education on post-op care and oral health maintenance
• Helps keep the day flowing with a proactive, can-do attitude

Requirements

• Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in California
• Perio, Oral Surgery or Endo experience preferred
• Radiology certification and CPR certification
• Experience with dental software (e.g., Dentrix or similar)
• A friendly, calm, and professional demeanor
• A team-first mindset with great communication skills
