Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Prepare hygiene operatories before and after patient appointments
• Set up and break down trays and equipment for prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, sealants, fluoride treatments, and radiographs
• Auxiliary assistance to hygienists during hygiene procedures
• Perform suctioning, patient positioning, and instrument transfer
• Take dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations and practice guidelines
• Apply topical fluoride or sealants if permitted by state law and certification

Qualifications

• At least one year of Dental Assisting experience
• Registered Dental Assistant certification
• Strong desire to meet performance standards
• Nitrous certification (preferred but not required)
• Warm and friendly personalities are welcomed
