Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Aid the dental team in delivering high-quality patient care
• Set up treatment areas, sterilize equipment, and maintain cleanliness
• Provide patients with oral hygiene education and post-procedure care instructions
• Support dentists during procedures, anticipating and fulfilling their needs
• Accurately manage appointment scheduling and record keeping

Qualifications

• One to three years of prior dental assisting experience
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication abilities and a friendly, caring demeanor
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Proficiency in dental software and technology (preferred)

Requirements

• Comply with state regulations, including CPR certification, formal X-ray exposure training, BORID certification, and annual continuing education requirements
