Demolition Superintendent (Independence Demolition)

About the role

Independence Demolition is seeking a Demolition Superintendent to lead industrial and commercial demolition projects. Key responsibilities include managing project activities, generating cost estimates, and ensuring project profitability.

Responsibilities

• Assist the estimating department with pre-bid planning, production, and field experience related to upcoming projects
• Prepare a detailed project schedule and update it throughout the project
• Create a work sequence plan using available resources to optimize efficiency
• Read and interpret project drawings and specifications
• Maintain project costs within budget by monitoring production and resource utilization
• Coordinate project close-out activities including punch list coordination, furnishing as-built drawings, and compiling final estimates
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of industrial demolition experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to develop positive working relationships with various parties
• Experience managing union workforces
• Effective verbal communication skills
