Demolition Foreman

Responsibilities

• Report project progress to superiors.
• Create a work schedule for workers.
• Serve as the primary liaison between construction workers and supervisors.
• Solve disputes between workers.
• Ensure adequate staffing for the project.
• Assign tasks to construction workers.
• Ensure the project stays within budget.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED.
• United States Citizenship.
• Criminal record must be clean to obtain various security clearances.
• Valid State ID and Social Security card.
• Ability to organize a work schedule.
• Ability to solve disputes between workers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to negotiate.
• Deep knowledge of the construction industry and processes.
• Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints.
• Perform quality checks on construction equipment.
• Good attendance and reliable transportation.

Minimal Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of experience running a demolition crew.
• Ability to delegate job duties to crew members.
• Personal accountability and reliability.
• Some ability to operate machinery such as skid steers and excavators.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Pass drug and 7-year background checks.
• Blue Print Reading.
• Shooting and setting grades.
• Carpentry skills for constructing and setting forms.
