Demolition Foreman

Duties, Tasks And Responsibilities

• Experience and knowledge in construction/demolition
• General knowledge of day-to-day dismantlement/demolition operations and knowledge of hand & power tool usage
• Willingness to learn new procedures or tasks
• Experience managing personnel and running work
• Ability to read and understand architectural/structural drawings
• Follow good construction safety practices and following company code of ethics, policies and procedures
• Operates equipment in a clean and efficient manner
• Affirms demolition is always conducted in a safe manner
• Production driven
• Willing to care for and maintain tools and equipment in addition to other duties
• Able to measure, mark and record areas where work is to be performed and has been completed
• Assists other trade workers as necessary
• Strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, the ability to track, record and plan work tasks, be able to work safely and promote a safe work environment
• Able to lift, pull, push up to 100 pounds
• Work in various weather and job location conditions
• Occasionally work irregular hours and weekends
• Able to understand and follow directions and take instruction in English

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience, including supervisor for demolition projects
• Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Diligent with great attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Travel is possible more than 50 percent of the time
