Duties, Tasks And Responsibilities
- Experience and knowledge in construction/demolition
- General knowledge of day-to-day dismantlement/demolition operations and knowledge of hand & power tool usage
- Willingness to learn new procedures or tasks
- Experience managing personnel and running work
- Ability to read and understand architectural/structural drawings
- Follow good construction safety practices and following company code of ethics, policies and procedures
- Operates equipment in a clean and efficient manner
- Affirms demolition is always conducted in a safe manner
- Production driven
- Willing to care for and maintain tools and equipment in addition to other duties
- Able to measure, mark and record areas where work is to be performed and has been completed
- Assists other trade workers as necessary
- Strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, the ability to track, record and plan work tasks, be able to work safely and promote a safe work environment
- Able to lift, pull, push up to 100 pounds
- Work in various weather and job location conditions
- Occasionally work irregular hours and weekends
- Able to understand and follow directions and take instruction in English
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience, including supervisor for demolition projects
- Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Diligent with great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Travel is possible more than 50 percent of the time
