Demand Generation Lead
About the role
PreVeil is a fast-growing tech company transforming secure communication and compliance for the modern enterprise. Our encrypted email and file sharing platform combines end-to-end encryption with Dropbox‑like simplicity, and has been named PC Magazine's Best Encrypted Email and File Sharing Solution five years running. Trusted by more than 3,000 defense contractors, PreVeil has become the gold standard for protecting sensitive information and achieving compliance efficiently. We're profitable, growing 100% year‑over‑year, and building for the long term. PreVeil is hiring a Demand Generation Manager to own our paid program and the demand programs that surround it. You’ll manage 7‑figures in annual program spend across Google Ads, Bing, YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit, Paid Affiliates, Paid Newsletters, and whatever channel earns its place next. Run it like a portfolio manager: every dollar is a position, every campaign has a thesis, and you’re constantly reallocating dollars to their most efficient use. You’ll know your cost per opportunity by channel, segment, and campaign, and when the numbers turn against a campaign you pushed for, you’ll be the one to shut it off. This is a hands‑on individual contributor role on a lean team empowered to run your own. You’ll start by working with existing consultants, but you will eventually bring it in‑house to own the strategy, execution, and goals. You won’t be doing it alone. You’ll have a team of top‑tier marketers behind you: a Head of Content & Web for website and landing page experiences, Product Marketing for positioning and proof points & RevOps to assist on AI initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Optimize Existing Channels
- Paid Search (Google Ads, Bing): keyword expansion and pruning, match type and bid strategy, negative keyword hygiene, ad copy and extension testing, competitor and category coverage.
- Paid Social (LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube): audience building and layering, new ad formats as platforms release them, creative refresh cycles before fatigue sets in, offer testing against each stage of the funnel.
- Paid Programs (Affiliates, Newsletters, Trade Networks): partner selection, placement negotiation, offer and creative development, honest measurement of what each program actually returns.
- Underneath all of it is a running A/B testing calendar: ad copy, creative, audiences, offers, and landing pages.
- Test New Channels: identify opportunities in trade publications, industry newsletters, communities, podcasts, and events; get PreVeil in front of them; structure each test with a budget, a hypothesis, and a kill criterion.
- Build the AI Workflows Behind the Program: examples include search term mining & negative keyword automation, connecting Google Ads MCP to the Context Lake, generating creative and copy at volume, and self‑assembling reporting.
- Share What You Learn: bring insights about messaging, targeting, and segment response back to Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and RevOps; pull frontline insight into your campaigns.
- What Success Looks Like at 6 Months
- Automated cost per lead, cost per opportunity, and cost‑per‑ARR by channel and segment reporting.
- Budget visibly shifted: defunded at least one underperforming lane and scaled at least one winner.
- Regular A/B testing cadence running, with documented results and winners rolled into the wider program.
- At least two new channels or ad types tested to a clear go/no‑go decision.
- Paid‑sourced pipeline growing faster than paid spend.
- Sales and Product Marketing using messaging insights that came out of your ad testing.
