Delivery Truck Driver - CDL A

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material
• Work overtime as needed
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL A
• Must have at least 5 years of commercial truck driving experience (preferred)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements
• Must be able to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs
• Must have a background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery (plus)
• Must be a strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Must be able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads

Pay

Starting at $18.30 - $29.22 per hour, depending on location and experience. This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and some overtime as needed
