Delivery Truck Driver - CDL A

About the role
Join our team as a truck driver with a schedule that allows you to be home daily with no nights or weekends. This role involves delivering materials to customers, assisting in warehouse operations, and ensuring safe and efficient logistics.
Responsibilities
- Deliver materials to customers, including loading and unloading using a pallet jack and two-wheel dolly, and ensuring delivery of the ticket with materials.
- Pick up customer returns and validate product matches for credit requests.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to the supervisor.
- Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
- Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming material.
- Work overtime as needed and adhere to all safety regulations.
- Assist in the warehouse and yard when not making deliveries.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid CDL A license and be at least 21 years of age.
- Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements and follow all DOT standards and regulations.
- Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.
A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery, is a plus.

Pay
Starting pay rate at $29 per hour and may be higher based on experience. Pay range: $19.26 - $30.76 per hour. This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some overtime as needed.
