About the role
The Delivery Assistant is a physical, fast-paced position providing direct support to a McLane Delivery Driver. You will not be driving the delivery truck but will be bending, lifting, and walking on a daily basis. You will also represent the face of the company to customers.
Responsibilities
- Unload trailer using a hand truck or 2-wheeled dolly.
- Place all delivery items in customer-designated food-safe storage areas.
- Afford assistance to the Driver's efforts to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
- Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age.
- Lift and move product and pallets which may weigh up to 75 pounds.

- Pay rate: $20.75 per hour.
- Sign on bonus: Up to $2,500, depending on experience.
