Responsibilities

• Operate all store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver pizzas and beverages to customers within a designated area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes, while carrying product.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
• Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use a calculator).
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements, including using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions (e.g., removing trash, deliveries).
• In-store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F or above in some work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters (e.g., walk-in cooler), and hot surfaces/tools (up to 500°F or higher).
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
• Tasks requiring near, mid-range, and far vision, including night vision for driving.
• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Temperaments: Direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, handle stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze/compile data, and make judgments/decisions.

Physical Requirements

• Standing: Most tasks performed from a standing position on ceramic tile or linoleum floors. Work surfaces range from 36" to 48" in height.
• Walking: Short distances for short durations, including between the store and delivery vehicle, and from the vehicle to the customer's location.
• Sitting: Paperwork completed at a desk or table.
• Lifting: Unload bulk deliveries (up to 50 lbs) using a hand truck; stack cases onto shelves up to 72" high. Carry large cans (3 lbs, 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and trays of pizza dough (12 lbs per tray).
• Pushing: Move trays on dollies (force up to 7.5 lbs).
• Climbing: Navigate stairs or ladders for tasks like changing prices, washing walls, or performing maintenance. Deliveries may require climbing five or more flights of stairs.
• Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the waist (e.g., pizza assembly station, front counter, stocking ingredients).
• Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally to stock shelves or clean low areas.
• Reaching: Continuously in all directions (up, down, forward) for tasks like turning oven controls, lifting objects, scooping ingredients, or answering phones.
• Driving: Deliver pizzas within a designated area, potentially making several deliveries per shift.
