Responsibilities
- Operate store equipment and prepare product.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage and work areas.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Deliver pizzas and beverages to customers within a designated area, including navigating multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
- Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use a calculator).
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements, including using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Skills
- Communication: Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions, including processing orders over the phone and in person.
- Essential Functions: Depth perception, near and mid-range vision, far and night vision for driving, and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
- Temperaments: Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Physical Requirements
- Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position on ceramic tile or linoleum surfaces.
- Walking: Short distances for short durations, including between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations.
- Sitting: Paperwork is completed at a desk or table.
- Lifting: Unloading bulk product deliveries (up to 50 pounds), lifting cases from the floor to shelves up to 72" high, carrying large cans (3 lbs, 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and trays of pizza dough (12 lbs per tray).
- Pushing/Pulling: Moving trays on dollies (force up to 7.5 pounds).
- Climbing: Navigating stairs or ladders for tasks like changing prices, washing walls, or performing maintenance; may include climbing five or more flights of stairs during deliveries.
- Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the waist (e.g., pizza assembly station, front counter, stocking ingredients).
- Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally to stock shelves or clean low areas.
- Reaching: Continuously in all directions (up, down, forward) for tasks like turning on oven controls, scooping ingredients, or answering phones.
Work Conditions
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions (e.g., removing trash, deliveries).
- In-store temperatures range from 36°F in coolers to 90°F or higher in work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
- Exposure to fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, and cramped quarters (e.g., walk-in cooler).
- Hot surfaces/tools (oven temperatures up to 500°F or higher) and sharp edges/moving mechanical parts.

- Pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.
