Responsibilities

• Operate all store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver pizzas and beverages to customers within a designated delivery area, including navigating multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Use navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.

Skills

• Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills for processing orders over the phone and in person.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and ability to make correct monetary change.
• Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements, including using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Far and night vision for safe driving.
• Ability to work under stress, meet quality control standards, and work both independently and with others.

Physical Requirements

• Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position on ceramic tile or linoleum surfaces.
• Walking: Short distances for short durations, including between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations.
• Sitting: Paperwork is completed at a desk or table.
• Lifting: Unloading bulk product deliveries (up to 50 pounds), lifting cases from the floor to shelves up to 72" high, and carrying trays of pizza dough (12 pounds per tray).
• Carrying: Large cans (3 pounds, 7 ounces), pizza sauce (30 pounds), and pizzas/beverages during delivery.
• Pushing/Pulling: Moving trays on dollies (requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force).
• Climbing: Navigating stairs or ladders for tasks like changing prices, maintenance, or delivering to multi-story buildings.
• Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the waist (e.g., pizza assembly, stocking ingredients).
• Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally to stock shelves or clean low areas.
• Reaching: Continuously in all directions (up, down, forward) for tasks like obtaining ingredients, cleaning, or operating equipment.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks or deliveries.
• In-store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F or higher in some work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
• Exposure to fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, and cramped quarters (e.g., walk-in cooler).
• Hot surfaces/tools (oven temperatures up to 500°F or higher) and sharp edges/moving mechanical parts.
• Sensory requirements: talking/hearing on the phone, near/mid-range vision, depth perception, and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Far and night vision required for driving.
