Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker

About the role

The Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker is responsible for delivering merchandise to customer locations and job sites, as well as picking up returned goods. This position involves all aspects of warehouse functions including receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for customer delivery.

Responsibilities

• Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency and equipment usage.
• Deliver orders to customer locations and job sites using company vehicles.
• Pull material from storage yards and warehouses to fill pick tickets.
• Verify quantities and items against invoices and packing lists.
• Load merchandise into company vehicles and sign delivery receipts.
• Pick up returned goods and inspect their condition.
• Maintain assigned equipment in clean condition and perform routine inspections.
• Organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements.
• Work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• General knowledge of warehouse procedures and ability to operate material handling equipment.
• Clean driving record with ability to pass Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Excellent attendance record required.
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers.
• Prior experience safely driving stake bed trucks and other large vehicles.
• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws, defensive driving, and demonstrated ability to operate assigned vehicles.
• Able to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Pass a Background Check and Drug Screen.

Pay

$20.70 – 28.42 per hour.

M-F, 7 am - 4 pm.
