About the role
The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Assurance Manager to manage supplier delivery performance across critical programs.
Responsibilities
- Execute strategic direction and performance management to achieve organizational objectives.
- Develop and implement delivery assurance strategies to ensure supplier on-time delivery, mitigate risks, and meet program requirements.
- Establish and maintain metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supplier delivery performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders, including procurement, quality, engineering, and program management, to resolve delivery issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews, including capacity assessments, production readiness evaluations, and risk assessments.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective action plans to address systemic delivery challenges and improve supply chain resilience.
- Represent the delivery assurance function in executive-level forums, providing updates on supplier performance, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Partner with procurement teams to negotiate delivery terms, prioritize critical needs, and escalate issues as necessary.
- Support digital transformation initiatives to enhance supply chain visibility, analytics, and decision-making.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the delivery assurance team.
- Travel as needed.
Qualifications
- You Must Have: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field and a minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain, delivery assurance, procurement, or related disciplines; OR an advanced degree and 5 years relevant experience.
- Experience working with supply chain principles, delivery assurance processes, and supplier performance management.
- Experience managing complex supply chain challenges.
- 5+ years of experience working with supply chain management tools, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and data analytics.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPIM, or PMP.
- Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of government contracting and FAR/DFARS regulations.
