Hosting Delivery Lead (Hybrid)

About the role
As a Hosting Delivery Lead at Collins Aerospace, you will play a critical role in modernizing and optimizing our hosting services by leading workload migrations, improving operational data quality, and ensuring financially responsible delivery of hosting solutions. You will partner closely with infrastructure teams, application owners, cloud engineering, and leadership to drive the transition from private cloud environments to scalable, secure, and cost-optimized public cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead hosting delivery operations including workload readiness, migration planning, and execution from private cloud environments to public cloud platforms.
- Perform hosting financial analysis, including cost modeling, forecasting, consumption tracking, and identifying optimization opportunities.
- Conduct data analysis across hosting inventories, service consumption, and workload classification to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee and execute CMDB cleanup and data quality improvements to ensure accurate configuration item relationships, hosting metadata, and dependency mapping.
- Collaborate with application teams, architects, and cloud operations groups to ensure hosting solutions align with RTX cloud strategy and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate delivery activities and timelines across multiple teams to ensure smooth transitions of applications and infrastructure to modern hosting platforms.
- Maintain operational governance processes to monitor hosting performance, availability, and cost-efficiency, implementing corrective actions where needed.
- Track and communicate migration progress, risks, and impacts to business partners and leadership.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline hosting processes, enhance data reliability, and reduce operational friction.
- Partner with vendors and outsourced service providers to ensure service levels exceed contractual requirements.
- Stay current on evolving public cloud capabilities, hosting platforms, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
- Experience delivering hosting or cloud services at scale within enterprise environments.
- Strong financial analysis skills, including cost modeling and data-driven decision making.
- Hands-on experience with cloud migration activities (Azure or AWS preferred).
- Strong understanding of hosting architectures across private and public cloud environments.
- Experience improving CMDB accuracy, configuration item lifecycle management, and dependency mapping.
- Broad technical knowledge spanning virtualization, storage, networking, OS platforms (Windows/Linux), and cloud services.
- Ability to quickly learn, evaluate, and apply new technologies to hosting challenges.
- Strong data analysis capabilities with tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.

- Experience driving data center or cloud transition programs.
- Demonstrated project management experience delivering complex infrastructure initiatives.
- Ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders to define hosting solutions.
- Experience working with outsourced partners and managing vendor relationships.
- Strong problem-solving skills and root-cause analysis experience.
- Familiarity with ITIL, LEAN, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- High attention to detail and strong commitment to service excellence.

Pay
The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD.
Schedule
Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
