About the role

Festival Foods is a Wisconsin grocer dedicated to serving communities and providing exceptional service and value. We operate over 40 full-service supermarkets across Wisconsin. This role is available for part-time or full-time hours, with schedules potentially including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service
• Offer assistance to guests
• Service excellence: fulfill guest orders and special requests efficiently
• Maintain high-quality conditions at the hot bar
• Collect food temperatures and maintain hot food logs
• Organize, stock, clean, and label the hot bar efficiently
• Address and resolve guest concerns using the boomerang principle
• Support the team with other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Experience interacting tactfully with guests and personnel
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Understanding of safety requirements and company policies
• Knowledge of perishable food and ability to work at a fast pace
• Familiarity with various kitchen equipment and handling high-pressure situations

Qualifications

• Physical demands: ability to work at a fast pace in changing temperatures, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, kneel, stand for long periods
• Technical skills: familiarity with kitchen equipment and ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively

Skills

• Fast food, deli, or restaurant experience is valuable
• Knowledge of food preparation and service
• Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic environment

Pay

Hourly associates are paid weekly, with additional premiums on Sundays and select holidays. Full-time store associates receive time and a half on Sundays and select holidays.
