Safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies, Federal and State regulations, and deliver all freight undamaged. Work as a team player to deliver, load/unload materials while providing a world-class customer service experience.
Responsibilities
- Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation.
- Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at commercial and residential job sites.
- Deliver materials to assigned area as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of those around you.
- Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
- Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment.
- Lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs. for load/unload.
- Provide excellent customer service with a professional attitude.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
- Minimum Class B License; Class A strongly preferred.
- Clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.
- Stamina to lift heavy building materials up to 80 lbs. for loading/unloading.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position while driving a commercial vehicle 40% of the time.
- Frequently move materials weighing up to 80 lbs. while unloading flatbed.
- Constantly operate commercial motor vehicle and/or boom vehicle.
- Constantly work in an outside environment while making deliveries.

Pay
The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $23.51 to $29.90 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, education, training, and/or experience. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime based on business needs. Depending on the role, associates may also be eligible for performance-based bonus programs, commissions, car allowance or automobile and fuel program, and reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with company travel policy.
