About the role

The growing architecture firm seeks an Architect / Job Captain to manage the objectives, requirements, and budget of architectural projects. This individual motivates team members and provides regular progress updates.

Responsibilities

• Share responsibilities of the project with a Senior Project Manager
• Punctual and professional demeanor
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Oversee the project from initial feasibility studies to the certificate of occupancy
• Attend client and consultant meetings, and construction meetings with the general contractor
• Put together a complete shell of a commercial building
• Understand Building Code and ADA requirements for commercial uses
• Manage permits from various agencies for constructing a commercial building
• Experience in Medical facilities is beneficial, along with FGI guidelines for Outpatient Facilities and Dept of Health Article 28 (Hospitals) regulations

Qualifications

• 5+ Years’ Experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Experience in Procore and Sketchup is beneficial (preferred)
