About the role
The Decommission Technician position involves decommissioning equipment and facilities safely and efficiently. The role requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Assess and decommission outdated or hazardous equipment and facilities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Coordinate with engineering teams to plan and execute decommissioning projects
- Document all activities and maintain records for regulatory purposes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in decommissioning or similar field
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
