Disposal-Waste Removal Technician

About the role

Responsible for managing waste removal operations, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Collects and transports hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials from various sources.
• Operates and maintains heavy machinery and vehicles used in waste management.
• Ensures all waste is disposed of in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Performs routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Communicates with clients to schedule pickups and provide estimates.
• Completes daily logs and reports as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Experience in waste management or related field preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and first aid.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

$18 - $22 per hour based on experience.
